We love being in the center of

From South Orange to Maplewood, Millburn to Short Hills, and the surrounding areas, we are proud to be a part of such a dynamic collection of people. The GenWealth Group began in Maplewood because we wanted to bring independent financial planning to the local community; and offer an entirely different experience from the group-think on Wall Street where most clients were being "sold" and not “served". With integrity, personalized service, and expert advice, we are trusted fiduciary advisors and heartily support our local community.

Family Connections Roll and Stroll for Hope

We were proud to partner with Family Connections to present the Roll and Stroll for Hope. Family Connections serves of 4,000 individuals and families in Northern NJ on an annual basis. Their programs range from mental health and substance use support to domestic violence services and supportive housing. Additionally, Family Connections runs five school-based programs, two of which are in Maplewood, NJ.

Seton Hall Athletics

We are proud sponsors of the Seton Hall Pirates men's basketball program, the NCAA Division I team at Seton Hall University. As Alumni, our founders are #HALLin and they're Pirates helping Pirates retire ready!

Community Shred Day

Each year, The GenWealth Group offers Annual Shred Day. Members of the SOMA community are invited to shred sensitive, personal documents at no cost. A secure mobile document shredding truck is on-site and over the years, we've shredded nearly 2 tons of paper!

Annual Jersey Cares Coat Drive

Since 2013, The GenWealth Group has served as a collection site for the Annual Jersey Cares Coat Drive. To date, we have collected nearly 3,000 winter coats for men, women, and children in need throughout New Jersey. We're thankful to our clients, friends, and neighbors for their contributions.

GenWealth Walks for Hope

A three-mile walk through Maplewood Village with hundreds of participants is powerful! Each time we organize, we choose a worthy cause. For example, in 2012, the event raised more than $15,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF), where over 90 cents of every dollar donated goes to breast cancer research and awareness programs.

Broadway Workshop

Our team has deep ties to the Broadway community, recently impacted by COVID. To help, we offered an educational webinar on personal finance to actors who were affected by the theater shut down. It was rewarding to share our expertise and today, we serve as financial advisors to several of Broadway's finest!

Giving Tree

Each year, we contribute to a “giving tree” for local children asking for their Christmas wish. Rather than buying the gifts ourselves, we bring the wish list home to our own children. They do the shopping, fulfilling each child's wish. "Be Generous" is a core value of our firm.
